This past December the drawer Heinrich Küpper died at the age of 90 years, his work being one of the major artistic concentrations within the Kolumba Collection. To conclude the Cabinet-Exhibitions of the »Bequest« cycle, and supplementing the previous exhibition of his artist’s books, we are displaying a series of recent felt-pen drawings, whose formal stringency may surprise you. (A richly illustrated workbook was published in September 2009 in time to present it to Küpper on the occasion of his 90th birthday; 112 pages € 28,-)
